Painting for Pleasure is a small group of artists who help and encourage each other and enjoy the opportunity to paint quietly in a friendly atmosphere. We do not have a teacher but share our expertise.
Members range from beginners to accomplished painters and use a variety of mediums; watercolour, acrylics, oil paint, pastels and pen and wash. Despite our group name, drawing and sketching are also encouraged. At each meeting there is a suggested topic with material available e.g. still life, architecture, seascapes, at others everyone carries on with whatever project they choose.
