The Mah Jongg and Rummikub group meet every week, you can choose which game to play as you arrive!
PLEASE NOTE: the Monday afternoon group is now full, but you can join our new Thursday morning group, also at Littleton Bowling club, from 10 to 12.30.
Mah Jongg
This Chinese game of is surprisingly well known. It is played with tiles, which are like miniature bricks, and the game is very similar to the card game rummy, challenging the player to collect runs and sets.
Ours is a mixed group of beginners and experienced players. We play a fairly simple version of the game, so that new players can pick up the rules quickly and easily, and the atmosphere is light-hearted. New members are always welcome, at any level.
Rummikub
Rummikub is an entertaining game, based on rummy, but using tiles instead of cards. It is not just a game of chance, but is easy to learn and can become quite addictive!
We welcome all players, those who have played before and those who have not; the aim is just to have fun.
