This group is for absolute beginners who want to start from scratch, or if you are just interested in learning some Greek which you can use on your holidays. We try to have fun learning together and talk about Greek culture too.
The main resource for learning is the book and CD course 'BBC Talk Greek', by Karen Rich. It is readily available quite cheaply from the usual internet sites. We can go through the book as many times as you like and we use other books, CD's and Youtube for variety.
Every year we try to visit a Greek restaurant for a social occassion and the photo shows both groups together at Greek on the Docks in Gloucester in January 2023.
