The country dancers enjoy the physical and mental exercise, and each other’s company. Although we all try to follow our caller, and the live bands, we do not take it too seriously!
The atmosphere of the group is happy and relaxed with a very welcome mid-session break for refreshments. No previous dancing experience needed. There is no barrier to coming alone - people often sit out a dance or swap partners. ‘Women’ are denoted by wearing a ribbon, 'men' are those not wearing one!

We meet on the first and third Fridays of each month except August.
