About Classic Cinema
We meet in the basement of the Evesham Methodist Church and discs from our members' collections are projected on the screen, and subtitles are shown. We break for tea or coffee and ask £4 to cover the room rent.
Do you love watching films? Do you love going to the cinema? Do you like to hear other people's take on an old film? What about watching a comedy with an audience - you'll find yourself laughing out loud much more than watching the TV at home. There is always a welcome for new members. This group began in 2006. Since then we have introduced, watched, enjoyed (usually) and discussed over 350 feature films and dozens of documentary and comedy shorts - all of them a treat in their way, all of them worthwhile, and we often poll our members to choose which movies to show again.
