Latin beginners started from the very beginning, proceeding at a gentle pace. It's not just about language but also general Roman-related topics, for example, Roman food, mosaics baths, and much else.
We use a gentle text book called 'Minimus', Minimus being a cartoon mouse living with a Roman family. Although it looks like a comic book, it does take you through the grammar, but slowly. We have completed Minimus Primus and have just embarked on Minimus Secundus.
It isn't advanced Latin, but the group has moved forward. It would be difficult for a complete beginner. If you have rusty Latin from school and want to get back to it, this group might suit you.
