We explore a large range of art, in time, style, and place. We have about 25 regular members, and we can take more. We work on the principle of sharing ideas and expertise, and some of us take it in turns to research and present about our chosen topics. It’s not compulsory, but any offers would be welcome. Sometimes we have DVDs instead. Afterwards there is group discussion, followed by tea or coffee.

Sometimes we have a session where several volunteers (no pressure) talk for five minutes or so about a particular artwork or artist.

We also have outings to galleries from time to time, for example, Compton Verney, the Ashmolean in Oxford, and Birmingham Art Gallery. We welcome suggestions as to where future trips might take us, as well what aspects of art we could explore.
