Survey: Influences and concerns about falling

We have had a request from Dr. Matt Hill from University of Leicester for participants to complete an online survey for a research study they are conducting on concern about falling in older adults.

The study explores whether seeing or hearing about other people falling (for example, friends, family members, or others) influences an individual’s own worries or concerns about falling. They hope the findings will help improve understanding of fear of falling and contribute to future falls prevention approaches.

Participation is entirely voluntary, anonymous, and confidential. The survey can be completed online at a time convenient to participants, and there are no right or wrong answers, they are simply interested in people’s experiences and perspectives. It takes around 15 minutes to complete.

If you would be happy to support the study, they would be very grateful. The survey link and study information is:

He would also be very happy to provide a participant information sheet or answer any questions you may have about the study.
