Speaker: Paul Lillie
Paul Lillie is an artist and musician who studied at Wimbledon School of art. He has worked as a musical tribute artist on the QM2 and appeared on a number of BBC programmes such as the Simon Mayo Radio 5 Show discussing popular culture. Paul now concentrates on delivering art and music therapy to palliative care patients at Nottingham City Hospital.
In his presentation about Elvis Presley he will combine story telling with singing and painting as he charts the career of the “King Of Rock”. This unique approach has proved very popular with U3A audiences throughout the UK who have particularly enjoyed his interactive approach which encourages audience participation.
