Ashleigh Jayes, Manager of the Almonry Museum in Evesham, will be talking about the history of the building, including new discoveries made during the building works and an up to date progress report on the Lottery Funded project.
This C14th former monastic building is undergoing its biggest transformation in centuries. Thanks to a grant of £2.1m from Arts Council England to repair and restore the fabric of the building and a further Development Phase grant of £393,219 for the re-interpretation of the collection and building, the Almonry is undergoing a transformational change.
